Designed for functionality, ease of maintenance, and simple beauty,
this 12-stall barn features stained wood shingle siding, white trim, gable dormers, and a traditional cupola.
Separating the stalls from the service areas (wash stalls, lounge, tack room), the cross aisle serves the dual
purpose of facilitating cross breezes across the barn and clearly separating the horse areas from the human
services areas. While employed as a Project Manager by Blackburn Architects,
PC, Anne Crowley was the primary designer, overseeing all phases of design, technical detailing, and construction
on this project. Photographs courtesy of Mardie Faucette.
